EPISODES is a product art network whose objective is to provide opportunities
for manufacturing companies to create exhibitions that reveal new dimensions of their products and, by so doing, to define their brand and business.
By transforming primary and industrial matter into works of art,
artists also create an opportunity for consumers to experience, contemplate,
appreciate and understand the essence of a product.
Metaphors, sublimation, subjectivity and passion are introduced, transforming industrial material into a type of art that will make a lasting impression.
EPISODES brings its participating artists together with this corporate
support system, which includes manufacturers at all stages of production,
and with collaborating universities and research and development entities.
Art becomes a vehicle connecting business to the community, with Episodes as the designated driver.
Intercultural exchange and international themes are significant elements of all
of our projects and networking activities, and the process results in fair and
accurate exposure for all involved.
EPISODES develops projects in the following ways:
* In house initiatives: Episodes chooses the subject, shapes the concept and
handles financial and exhibition logistics.
* Invited guest curators, artists, and members of the public submit
proposals for projects. Episodes decides which ones to develop and then
creates a viable network to realize them.
* Multi-lateral initiatives: Episodes develops projects in partnership with
national and international foundations, educational institutions and art
schools. Episodes acts as one of the participatory components committed to
making the whole project a shared success.
